EarthWool™ Batts & Rolls

Knauf Insulation’s EarthWool™ Wall and Ceiling Batts are made from highly resilient, inorganic glass fibres bonded by ECOSE® Technology, a revolutionary new binder based on rapidly renewable bio-based materials rather than non-renewable petroleum-based chemicals. ECOSE® Technology reduces Knauf Insulation binder embodied energy and contains no phenol, formaldehyde, acrylics or artificial colours found in traditional glasswool insulation.

EarthWool™ Foil Faced Roof Rolls

Knauf Insulation’s EarthWool™ Roof Rolls are intended for both thermal and acoustical applications, and have optional foil facing. Knauf EarthWool™ Duct Wrap is a thermal and acoustical insulation blanket made from highly resilient, inorganic glass fibres bonded with ECOSE® Technology. It is available nude, or with medium or heavy duty foil facing.

Blown Glasswool

Blown glasswool is a specialist insulation product for installation in walls and ceilings by approved contractors using a pressurized machine. As a premium solution, the high performance glasswool expands to fit the required space and provide extremely reliable in-situ performance.

Supafil™ Cavity Wall (for upgrading masonry cavity walls)

Supafil™ Cavity Wall Insulation is an unbonded, virgin glass wool blowing insulation with high thermal resistance characteristics for both new masonry walls and also upgrading masonry walls for existing houses.

Perimeter Plus™ (for insulating new timber frame walls)

Knauf Insulation Perimeter Plus™ is an unbonded, virgin glass wool blowing insulation with high thermal resistance characteristics for timber frame construction.

Blow-in-Blanket® System (BIBS) is a patented process consisting of glass mineral wool loose fill blown in behind a special netting material for timber frame construction. Perimeter Plus™ Blowing Insulation is used in both new and existing structures as a Blow-In-Blanket System for closed cavity applications in which ventilation is not required.

Jet Stream® (for insulating ceilings)

Knauf Jet Stream Blowing Insulation is an unbonded, virgin fibrous glass blowing insulation designed with optimal thermal properties, and excellent coverage and blowing characteristics. Jet Stream’s unique platinum color identities it as the high performing product that you require.

Reflective Foil Products for Walls

Knauf Insulation offers a range of reflective foil products for wrapping external timber frame walls to prevent internal heat gain from radiated sunlight. The range includes separate reflective foil products for use as a ‘vapour control layer’ or as a ‘breathable layer’ and also has options for either light or heavy duty depending on site conditions.

For maximum energy efficiency and to prevent heat gain in summer and heat loss in winter through convection and conduction, Knauf Insulation recommend the use of reflective foil with bulk insulation such as EarthWool™.

Reflective Foil Sarking

Knauf Insulation reflective foil tile underlay products for roofs prevent internal heat gain from radiated sunlight. The product is available in light or heavy duty depending on site conditions.

For maximum energy efficiency and to prevent heat gain in summer and heat loss in winter through convection and conduction, Knauf Insulation recommend the use of Knauf Insulation Double-sided Foil with bulk insulation such as EarthWool™.
